In the most recent modern movie remake of "The Three Musketeers", see 17th century france in 3D this weekend, as well as a cast that includes the ever-popular Orlando Bloom.
Paul W. S. Anderson's take of Alexandre Dumas's "The Three Musketeers" features Matthew Macfadyen as Athos, Luke Evans as Aramis and Ray Stevenson as Porthos – more popularly known as the three musketeers. The thieving trio's good plans are dampened when Milady de Winter, not just a pretty face with a sharp mind but also one great fighter, sells them out to the Duke of Buckingham English villain delightfully played by Orlando Bloom.
Logan Lerman's performance as the arrogant D'Artagnan is fun and witty. Plus, dress them up in exquisite customes, prop the scenes up with detailed screen sets, and add an exciting line-up of good old-fashioned fights, we have an entertaining, enjoyable mindless adventure.
