This Is It for Michael Jackson fans

The news of Michael Jackson's death shocked the world, just days before his 50-concert run which was to last from 8th July 2009 to March 2010. His come back tour was also the fastest selling in history, having all 50 concert sold out in a matter of hours. This Is It opens tomorrow in cinemas as a reminder to all how talented the King of Pop really was, and the icon he became. Tragic as it may be that his later years were tainted with scandal, Michael Jackson reinvented showmanship with his dance moves and music that every person born in the 1980s, 1970s and possibly 1960s had at least one song of his edged into their minds. This Is It isn't just a concert movie, it is probably the only glimpse we will have of the 50-concert run he had in stored for us. Whether or not he would have survived all the shows at 50 years of age if he had lived on beyond June 25th, we can only speculate.
