Meet Mr. Burberry Eau de Parfum, the latest chapter in the brand’s Mr. Burberry fragrance story. Mr. Burberry Eau de Parfum is a deeper, more sensual interpretation of the iconic Mr. Burberry Eau de Toilette.
Mr. Burberry Eau de Parfum is inspired by the anticipation of London at night. Warm, sensual and woody, the fragrance fuses classic scents of British male perfumery. Aromatic top notes of tarragon with comforting, spicy cinnamon, are layered delicately on rich patchouli with a dense, woody base of amber and smokey vetiver.
“Mr. Burberry is our most significant men’s fragrance to date. Inspired by the iconic Burberry trench coat and by London, a city of great contrasts and contradictions. It is traditional yet irreverent, elegant without being pristine. It perfectly encapsulates a mood and an attitude that today’s Burberry man will recognise as his own,” Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer Christopher Bailey explains.
Mr. Burberry Eau de Parfum is the brainchild of Christopher Bailey and perfumer Francis Kurkdjian.
The bottle honours the black Heritage Trench Coat and its signature design details. Bold and masculine, the weighted cap references horn-look buttons, while a hand-tied knot in English-woven gabardine sits around the neck, celebrating the innovative fabric invented by Thomas Burberry more than 100 years ago. The dark lacquer bottle conveys the sensuality and warmth of the scent.
Mr. Burberry Eau de Parfum will only hit stores come this April. Customers will be able to personalise their 100ml or 150ml Mr. Burberry Eau de Parfum bottle with up to three initials. This is done through a monogramming service available on Burberry.com and selected Burberry and wholesale stores from 3 April 2017.
