From a family-owned pizzeria in Australia, Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar has grown to become one of the Down Under's fastest growing franchise networks. The chain now offers healthy gourmet pizza at two outlets in Singapore – Holland Village and Upper Thomson road.
Fresh, wholesome ingredients on thin crust created and served immediately – what's there not to like? The Pepperoni pizza is a great option with not-too-salty pepperoni and generous spread of ground beef.
Plus, Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar offers some interesting items include yummy Asian pizzas such as Five Spice Pork Belly pizza, Roast Duck pizza and Szechuan Chilli Prawn too. We went for the Roast Duck pizza which turned out a pleasant surprise since we though bok choy on pizza was sure to taste funny but the hoisin sauce base helped blend the taste together.
However, I found their pizzas on the pricey side. For about $22 to $25, you will get a 8-slice pizza that is just enough to satisfy a mid-size eater. It is best to go in groups to try out a variety before hopping down to the less expensive places nearby to fill the tummy! MOOD:
One of the reasons that would keep me from returning would be the irritating bugs at the al fresco area. I wonder if it is the wet weather during monsoon season that is causing this problem but if this continues and they do not solve the problem, they would be losing many customers. No one likes bugs in their water, even if its free, and definitely not on their pizzas after waiting for so long. You might also like: Fine, Let's Dine
