Singapore Karting Championship 2011

Still wondering what to do for the long weekend? What about heading down to Singapore's one and only karting race, the AutoInc Singapore Karting Championship (SKC) for an exciting weekend?

Following an extremely successful inaugural launch last year, the SKC is back for the second year and begins this weekend at Kartright Speedway along Upper Jurong Road – the first of what would be five race weekends spread throughout the year.

This weekend's race begins on Saturday at 11am and ends on Sunday at 4pm. There will be five main race segments: Cadet (aged 8-12), Junior (aged 13-15) Senior (aged 15-35), Senior Master (30-45) and Senior Veteran (45 and above). The winner of each segment receives a cash prize of SGD688 on top of other prizes.

Watch the competitors whizz down the 750 metre-long circuit, full of challenging twists and turns. Or join them in the fun! All safety equipment is provided at Kartright Speedway and, for those without a drivers license yet, there is no need for one to race down the karting tracks!
