Returning for the second run this year, i Light Marina Bay is Asia's first and only sustainable light art festival presented by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and organised by Smart Light Singapore (SLS).
From 9 March to 1 April 2012, over 30 dynamic and innovative light art installations – not just any installations but energy-efficient ones – will be showcased along the 3.5km waterfront promenade, one of Singapore's iconic watersides, when night falls. This year's Asian-centric showcase is part of the "Switch Off, Turn Up" campaign, an effort by the Marina Bay stakeholders in a bid to offset energy usage and promote energy savings from lighting.
In line with this, there are also complementary programmes and activities such as a night carnival, outdoor performances, guided tours, educational talks and workshops for everyone.
On top of this, a romantic sight free for all to view from 7.30pm to 11pm, check the display out with friends, family or your partner!Related link:i Light Marina Bay website
