This weekend, spend some fun-filled time with your family at the two-day long 'Colourful Journeys: Carnival at the Green'. There will be lots of free activities such as kite-making as well as outdoor screenings of old film classics 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' and 'Sing-a-long Mary Poppins'. If there are young ones in your family, they will be well entertained by the silly antics of Tubby the Robot and The Broom People who will be roaming the museum grounds and creating a din.
And who says such activities and playgrounds are for kids?
Enjoy the blast from the past! You will be thrilled to know that the National Museum will transform its public spaces into a creative playground. There will also be a wide variety of hands-on activities and workshops such as storytelling performances and giant displays of soft sculptures visitors may interact with.
What's more, with the museum's collaboration with I Theatre's ACE! Festival, there will be a delightful line-up of theatre and music performances from the United Kingdom and Korea such as Shiro and the Cherry Blossom and The Girl in the Red Hood.
So, this weekend, leave your work at the office and spend some quality time with your family and friends at the National Museum of Singapore.National Museum of Singapore
