Chunk Fest 2010

The joyous annual ice cream festival Chunk Fest by Ben & Jerry's is back for the third year!

On top of great music and fun activities, 12 exclusive flavours – Bonnaroo Buzz, Boston Cream Pie, Butter Pecan, Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl, Chocowlate Chip, Dulce Almond, Imagine Whirled Peace, Oatmeal Cookie Chunk, Peanut Butter Cookie Dough, Pomegranate Sorbet, Vanilla Health Bar Crunch and Maple Blondie – are specially imported just for the festival.

The bold and greedy could go for the Vermonster Challenge where 20 teams of four will compete against each other for the fastest time to down 20 scoops of Ben & Jerry's ice cream. The winning team gets to enjoy an entire year's supply of Vermonster!

But for those who prefer to feast on the creamy iced goodness at their own leisurely pace, you will not lose out. Along with the festival comes great discounts too! From now till the actual day, Ben & Jerry's Singapore is giving away a Moolah voucher with every scoop purchased and 5 Moolah vouchers for every pint purchased. 5 Moolah vouchers get you a Chunk Fest Mug, 10 vouchers get you the festival's Tee and 15 gets you an iPhone cover.

Come dressed as a hippie, and live out the young person (might think) you are: Foresee bell bottoms, tie-dyed tees, rainbow coloured accessories, afros and even those "interesting" platforms!

Instead of pulling for war, why not push for peace with Chunk Fest's Tug of Peace? Pushover should go for the Mega Hopscotch Challenge for a dose of nostalgia instead. Besides, held waterfront at The Promontory @Marina Bay, live out our childhood again by flying kites across the beautiful skyline and enjoy a romantic time with live music by established local bands such as 53A, Jack & Rai and Tabula.
