Meanwhile in Russia, more than 500 road accidents occurred in just a single day due to male drivers getting distracted by trucks driving around with a giant image of a woman's pair of perky, massive breasts with the words “They Attract” splashed across her nipples.
The massive adverts placed on the sides of 30 trucks driving around Moscow showed a woman's breasts cupped in her hands. The publicity stunt was pulled off by Sarafan Advertising Agency which was advertising its mobile advert services. It sure did attract a lot of attention, so much that a total of 517 traffic accidents were reported.
As the trucks happily trucked down the streets of the Russian capital, they left a trail of mayhem in its wake as male drivers became so distracted that they ploughed straight into each other's vehicles.
The power of bewbs.
It got so bad that the police were called down to round up all the trucks displaying the gigantic hooters. Police patrol cars were deployed to take the trucks back to the police carpound until the risque images were removed.
“I was on my way to a business meeting when I saw this truck with a huge photo of breasts on its side go by,” 35-year-old motorist Ildar Yuriev said. “Then I was hit by the car behind who said he had been distracted by the truck. It made me late and left my car in the garage, and although I am insured I am still out of pocket.”
Now furious drivers are hounding the advertising agency with compensation claims. Someone should tell these men the universally-understood disclaimer that staring at boobs, be it on picture or in real life, is all at one's own peril.
A spokesman for AdvTruck.ru
which organized the campaign said: “We are planning to bring a new advertising format onto the market, encouraging companies to place their ads on the sides of trucks, as we thought this would be a good alternative to putting them on the sides of public transport.
“We wanted to draw attention to this new format with this campaign” he explained.
And he added: “In all cases of accidents, the car owners will receive compensation costs from us that aren’t covered by their insurance.”
As far as it is understood, no one got seriously hurt when they collided head on after staring dumbfounded at those surgically-enhanced cha-chas.
